The Scarecrow is an early game craft-able item used to keep crows away from crops. Clicking on a scarecrow will show the number of crows the scarecrow has scared away since being placed down. Picking a scarecrow up causes this number to be reset.
A scarecrow is crafted with 50 Wood, 20 Fiber, 1 Coal.
In addition to normal scarecrows, there are eight collectible Rarecrows which can be acquired throughout the game.
The range of a scarecrow is 8 tiles in all directions (diameter of 17).
