Kent is a villager living in Stardew Valley. He arrives at the village at the beginning of Year 2 after returning from his tour of duty in the army. He is the father of Sam and Vincent.

Heart Events[]

Three Hearts

Walk into his house after 11AM and Jodi will be making popcorn. The sound startles Kent who come into the kitchen and explains that the sound reminds him of the war and how he lost a lot of good friends in the bloody trenches. Jodi is sad because he always used to love popcorn to which Kent replies that things have changed. Jodi will ask you to say something to him.

  • "Jodi's to blame... she should've known better!" -25 friendship points. He'll tell you to keep quite and to stop trying to turn him against his wife. He then apologizes to Jodi since she couldn't have known that the sound would upset him. Jodi will console him and says she will try to do her best to keep his spirits up from now on.
  • "I know you're hurting... but don't blame your wife." +50 friendship points. He'll say you're right and apologize to Jodi since she couldn't have known the sound would upset him. Jodi says it's okay, she didn't want to upset him and she'll do her best to keep his spirits up from now on.
  • "(Lie) Blame me... I asked for popcorn" -50 friendship points. Kent gets angry and says "Don't lie to me! I hate lies more than anything!" And then apologizes to Jodi.
