Bait can be attached to a Fishing Rod -- Fiberglass Rod or Iridium Rod only -- to change the waiting time for fish to bite.

You can equip bait by opening the items menu, clicking the bait to grab it, and then right clicking the rod.

Bait (Item) Edit

Bait can be acquired by either purchasing for 5g each from Willy's shop at the Beach, getting a treasure chest from fishing, crafted using Bug Meat, or by using a Worm Bin.

To add bait to a Crab Pot, place the Crab Pot in water first, then select the bait and apply by right clicking the Crab Pot.

Tips:Edit

  • If Bait is hard for you to acquire, the Luremaster perk can be used as a replacement to bait to operate Crab Pots.
  • A good strategy for acquiring bait is to have 3+ worm bins setup around your farm. These will provide a substantial amount of bait.
    • You may need more or less depending on the amount of Crab Pots you have around the map.
